Study of conjugate stress state in the conditions of contact loading and volume deformation. pp. 48--57

Summary: Conjugate stress state of a roller -- ring active system in the conditions of contact loading and volume deformation is considered. The distribution of the contact stresses was obtained by numerical integration of the solutions for unit normal and tangential tractions applied to a half-space over the area of the elliptic distribution of contact pressure. Stress state under bending of the ring was obtained using bending theory. Conjugate stress state in the roller -- ring active system was obtained by superposing the fields of stresses conditioned both by action of normal and tangential elliptically distributed contact tractions and by bending of the ring. The change of the stress state in comparison with the solution for the pure contact problem is analyzed.

New methods of managing of interaction of man-operator with technical means of equipment control in power engineering. pp. 58--62

Summary: Possible approaches to design of informational system of operators support of energy power complex based on automatic analysis of technological situations are considered. The automatic control system subsystem for automatic detection and analysis of steam-turbine installation operating irregularity is designed and introduced into production. The developed software structure is described as well as structure and content of subsystem messages. The subsystem of automatic analysis of equipment operating irregularity is developed by RUP "BELTEI".

Absorbent power measurement unit PM 0.01--20 GHz. pp. 68--72

Summary: Millimeter wave measurement laboratory of BSUIR has been developed microwave instrumentations, equipment and devices. It is necessary to measure absorbed power at measurement of output power of SHF signals, measurement of radiation level at calibration of antennas. The power meter ÐM 0.01--20 GHz is developed on the base of the prototype M3-51. The developed power measuring device includes 24 bits sigma-delta analog to digital converter (ADC) with built-in improved reference voltage source, interface unit, power supply, input-output device, microprocessor controlling unit, low noise direct current amplifier, LCD, keyboard. The power meter can statistically process the measuring power. It is possible to input the frequency of a measured signal to calculate automatically the conversion coefficient for each transducer by calibration tables. That has expanded the range of measured signal frequencies up to 20 GHz. The automatic zero compensation is enabled. The device has RS232, USB, IEEE-488.1 connectors.

Summary: Millimeter wave measurement laboratory of BSUIR has been developed microwave instrumentations, equipment and devices. The measuring device for amplitude-time parameters of microwave impulses, developed in the laboratory, is examined. It is designed for measurement of instant and peak power values with measurement time less than 1 ms, measurement of time parameters of periodical microwave impulses in the range of frequencies of 0.01--25.86 GHz. Microwave detector of own design and digital oscillograph Agilent 54641A are used in the measurement device. An attenuator is connected to the input of microwave detector in order to expand its dynamic range up to 1W measurement power. Presence of PC as a part of the device allows to automate the measurement process, to obtain, register, process measurements data and to transfer measurement data if working as a part of automated measurement system.
