Determining rotating mass moment inertia of trolleybus traction motors. pp. 42--45.
Summary: A structural view is established and numeric values of parameters were determined of formulae for calculating rotating mass moment inertia of trolleybus traction motors. The formulae is got has very easy and simple kept in mind view (J = M1.5֒ /10000) and it allows to prognose value of rotating mass moment inertia of trolleybus traction motors at the most early stages of its projecting when only one nominal hour mode torque is known. A methodology and results of experimental determining rotating mass moment inertia of trolleybus traction motors types DK--210A-3, DK--21 IBM and DK--213 which confirm justify of proposed formulae. A simple view in combination with high quality of prognosing (MAPE=3.60%) give a base for putting of formulae is got into engineering practice and into structure of computer program packets destined for quasystatic and dynamic mobile machine transmission analyzing.

The influence of the ignition advance angle on noise characteristics of a motorcycle. pp. 46--48.
Summary: The results of applying of electronic system of ignition advance angle control for gasoline engine are considered in this paper. Suggested approaches allow to decrease the general level of a noise, produced by a road motorcycle 3.1135 «Leader», manufactured by «Motovelo», to 3 dB(A) due to automatic setting of ignition advance angle value in correspondence with working regimes of an engine.
Suggested approaches can be used during developing of control systems of wide spectrum of engines.

I.I. ARGATOV
On the movement of a rigid body with a ring support area along a rough plane. pp. 49--52.
Summary: Equations of plane-parallel sliding of a rigid body with the ring support under dry friction are derived. For the time of braking of a nonhomogeneous ring, we obtain a two-sided estimate which coincides with the «unimproved» estimate in the limit case of the narrow ring. As an example, the problem of braking of a system of two nearly situated narrow rings is considered.
G.I. MIKHASEV
Localized forms of parametric vibrations of a cylindrical shell laying on a non-homogeneous elastic foundation. pp. 53--56.
Summary: The problem on the parametric vibrations of a thin, long cylindrical shell lying on an elastic foundation under action of compressive static axial forces and pulsing pressure is considered. Under an assumption that a thickness and physical characteristics of the shell as well as a foundation factor of an elastic basis are functions of a longitudinal coordinate, solutions of the Flugge type equations are constructed in the form of functions decaying far from some parallel on the shell surface.
