Methodological variants for allocation of the Republican Agricultural Producers Support Fund resources, foodstuff and agrarian science among the regions of the republic. pp. 3--12.

Summary: In the effectiveness growth of the agricultural production development one of the most important factors is the centralized state support in the structure of which a great role plays The Support Fund of the Agricultural Producers, Foodstuff and Agrarian Science. The experience showed that the objective allocation of the central resources should take into account the different initial nature and economic conditions in regions and enterprises of the country, as well as the effectiveness of their use. The complex study of the problem gave a chance to offer some variants of the initial criteria of the centralized resources allocation among the regions of the republic.

Summary: The urgency of the research is determined by the acute necessity to perfect approaches to economic estimation of agro-industrial potential of the nation, regions, agricultural enterprises and using these results in the economic mechanism of agriculture and national economy for increasing the efficiency of using the available agrarian resources.

Summary: In the period of transition to market economy every agricultural enterprise seeks raising production efficiency, the final result of which is really determined by the correlation of the market prices and full costs. In view of above this article pays attention to using such an indicator, which would combine price and cost. It is proposed to develop and introduce in practice the coefficient of market cost payback, being the simplest to evaluate but universal criteria by nature.

Summary: In clause the approach of an estimation of gross output in dynamics on uniform prices is given, eliminating thus influences of the price and cited the empirical data in a comparable kind and is objective and sufficient for the analysis of a trend and the forecast of increase of an agricultural production and his efficiency.

Summary: Development of rural areas is one of the priorities of the government's policy in Belarus. The State Rural Areas' Revival and Development Program for 2005--2010 was developed and approved in the country. The necessity for the intensive development and solving the problems of rural areas requires huge expenses. For a more efficient utilization of means allocated for the development of rural areas it is necessary to completely understand what regions require reviving, what require developing.

Summary: The State Rural Areas' Revival and Development Program affects the questions of labor and the life style of different social groups living in the countryside. Today this concerns especially rural women, because natural social and economic peculiarities of agriculture and also rural way of life considerably influence the specific features of the labor of women working in the agricultural production and their position in the society and social security.

Summary: The recession in the productivity of the meliorated soils of Belarusian Poleseje has been observed recently. Melioration systems which have been maintained for 20--30 years without overhaul require improvement of their condition. It leads to the conclusion that to Increase the productivity and efficiency of agriculture the advance coming investments, including into reconstruction of melioration systems, are necessary.

Summary: On the cultivated and fertile soil while growing sugar-beet without any dung, the greatest effect was gained by using herbicide «Betanal Expert OF, 27 % k. e. a.». If the sugar-beet was cultivated with the dung, most effective has appeared to be «Betanal Expert OF, 27% k. e.» with herbicides «Piramin Turbo, 52 % k. e.» and «Dual Gold, 96 % k. e. a.»

Summary: Hop is a historically traditional agricultural crop in Belarus. The research of the current status and the economic efficiency of its production justifies the import replacing production domestically.

The forming peculiarities of the drug-vegetative raw material market in the Republic of Belarus. pp. 46--48.

Summary: Medicinal Herbs are «natural» ingredient for pharmaceutical industry. Besides, it is renewable raw material that has strong annual export ability. Belarus has lost the comprehensive system of Interrelation between raw material producers and pharmaceutical industry. The biggest problem is the absence of the unified quality control system and great variety of medicinal herbs used. The nation will become import dependant without applying GACP in the nearest future and establishing the procurement and quality control systems close to that commonly used in Europe.

Summary: The article describes the technique of determining the optimal option of mixing which provides the distribution of forages depending on the size of a cattle-breeding farm and distance of transportation of forages.

The economic efficiency of different kinds of calves feeding. pp. 53--54.

Summary: It was found that current methods of calves feeding (colostrum and milk drinking) did not agree with digestion tract of young animals and had no economic efficiency. As a result technological perfection and applying of modern techniques of calves drinking has significant economical effect in receiving of healthy young calves.
