The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus develops scientific-technical collaboration and fruitful business relations with foreign partners all over the world and represents Belarus in such international scientific bodies as the International Council for Science (ICSU), the All European Academies (ALLEA), the InterAcademy Panel on International Issues (IAP), the International Association of Academies of Sciences (IAAS), the International Centre for Scientific and Technical Information (ICSTI), the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), the International Congress of Mechanical Engineering Societies (ICOMES), the International Centre for Heat and Mass Transfer (ICHMT).
The Academy has bilateral agreements on scientific cooperation with Academies of Sciences or similar scientific institutions of Arab Republic of Egypt, Armenia, Austria, Bulgaria, Cuba, Czech Republic, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Republic of China, Republic of Korea, Republic of South Africa, Macedonia, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Sweden, Ukraine, USA, etc.
A List of International Agreements on Cooperation
In 2010, the international relations were supported and the scientific research and developments were carried out by institutes of the Academy under agreements and contracts with research centres from 78 countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, North and South America.
