Summary: Optimal extraction conditions of ion associate of aminazine (chlorpromazine) with sulphonephthaleine dyes have been determined and chemical-analytical properties of the associates have been studied. A technique for extractive-photometric determination of aminazine in dragee has been worked out.

Interaction of carbon oxide and nitrogen dioxide with thin films on tin dioxide. pp. 19--23

Summary: Results of researches presented confirm interaction mechanisms of the material of a n-type conductivity with oxidizing and reduction gases. Film doping has been shown to yield materials selectively sensitive to red- or ox-gases. A mechanism of tin dioxide surface interaction with CO including participation of surface-charged oxygen particles has been also confirmed. A possibility has been shown to effect the material selectivity not only by a choice of the appropriate catalyst but also by concentration variation of charge carriers.

Summary: Olefin hydrogenation on Pt-polyamide catalysts has been studied. A catalyst with Pt content of 1% (mass) has been shown to be the most active among these investigated.

Structure and properties of carbon fibres containing Co--Sm bimetallic phase. pp. 27--30

Summary: Formation of structure and properties of carbon fibres containing Co-Sm bimetallic phase have been studied. Chlorides of Co and Sm have been shown to catalyze a process of hydrate cellulose carbonization and to increase yield of the end product. In carbonization process the chlorides are reduced to metal yielding ferromagnetic phases, due to these phases Co-Sm-YB has a high specific magnetization and good wettability towards epoxide resin ED-20.

Effect of ultrasound and vibration on aluminium hydroxide structure. pp. 31--34

Summary: Effect of ultrasound and vibration on aluminium hydroxide structure formation has been studied. Sorption capacity and specific surface of the hydroxide has been shown to increase with a time of ultrasonic treatment. Ultrasonic action followed by a vibration treatment promotes a further development of structure parameters of the hydroxide samples obtained due to an increase of a conglomeration grade of colloid system particles. A mechanism of the processes taking place during ultrasonic and vibration treatments of the hydroxide has been considered. An explanation of structure formation of the samples with enhanced sorption parameters has given in terms of the colloid chemistry.

Structure and filtration properties of silica deposited from solutions of fluorosilicic acid and its ammonium salt. pp. 35--40

Summary: Structure properties of silica deposited from solutions of fluorosilicic acid and its ammonium salt have been studied using a laser particle sizer as well as optical and electron microscopy and grading analysis. Improved filtration characteristics of wet precipitates deal with structure parameters changing of the solid phase and its surface properties.

Effect of ultrasonic and vibration treatment on a structure formation of semi-synthetic adsorbents. pp. 41--45

Summary: A study has been carried of a mechanism of structure formation of co-precipitated systems, such as montmorillonite -- aluminium hydroxide and montmorillonite -- iron hydroxide, under ultrasonic and vibration treatment. Ultrasonic treatment and vibration of the mixture of components has been shown to lead to a sharp increase in sorption capacity and specific surface area of the adsorbents obtained. The nature of these phenomena has been explained.

Quantitative characteristics of 2,5-dimethyl-2,5-ditriphenylmethylperoxy-3-hexyne photodecomposition in a thin film state. pp. 46--48

Summary: Conditions have been determined of formation of thin films based on 2,5-dimethyl-2,5-ditriphenylmethylperoxy-3-hexyne with a high content of the initial diperoxide by the method of thermal vacuum evaporation. Quantum yield of the diperoxide decomposition in a thin film state has been found to be equal to that in a liquid phase.

Additivity of enthalpies of formation and evaporation of one and two-atomic alcohols. pp. 49--54

Summary: Reliability and correspondence of enthalpy values of formation (liquid and gas) and evaporation for 53 alcohols (one and two-atomic) have been estimated at 298.15 on the basis of additivity rules. For 39 alcohols enthalpies of their formation and evaporation have been forecasted.

Equilibrium constants of formation of a system ether-aluminium-organic compound. pp. 55--57

Summary: Values of equilibrium constants for aluminoalkyls complexing reaction have been obtained using ethers of a various nature. The values calculated allow selecting initiating systems aluminoalkyl-ethers for cationic polymerization of various monomers as well as controlling parameters of the polymerization process and physico-chemical properties of polymers.

Synthesis and biological activity of 11-desoxyanalogues of PGE and PGF. pp. 58--62

Summary: A number of modified analogues of 11-dexyprostaglandins containing different chemical groups in w-chain has been synthesized. Thirteen of them have been found to display non-specific cytogastroprotective effect a model ethanol-induced stomach ulcers of Vistar rats. 11-Methylprostanoid containing 16-chlorphenoxylic and enaminoketonic fragments in (a-chain was a more active. In the case of pyridic, phenoxylic, cyclopentanoic, ferrocenilic fragments in w-chain a protective effect of prostanoids was about 40--50% as compared to a negative control. The compounds studied has no effect in a model indometacine-induced stomach ulcers in C3H mice. Many of the prostanoids stimulated or inhibited motorial function of small intestines in mice irrespective of a character of their effect on experimental stomach ulcers.

Use of toluene solution of lecithin for phospholipase A2 purification from porcine pancreas. pp. 63--67

Summary: The new method for phospholipase A2(PLA2) purification from porcine pancreas have been proposed. The affinity of the enzyme to the substrate (lecithin) have been used. Lecithin was dissolved in toluene. PLA2 was extracted from the gomogenated pancreas by toluene solution of lecithin with Biogel P-4- and CMC-fractionation after that.

Interaction of a mixture of polyacrylic acid and polyvinyl alcohol with two-valent copper ions in water solutions. pp. 68--72

Summary: Complexation of two-valent copper ions with equimolar mixture of polyacrylic acid (PAA) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) has been studied by the method of UV-spectroscopy. The dissociation constants of triple polymermetal complexes obtained have been determined. Experimental data show a high specific bonding of copper ions in these complexes, and the bond force depends on a medium acidity. The absence of appreciable complexing in the system of PAA--PVA with ions of other transition metals evidences on ahigh selectivity of bonding with copper ions.

Electrochemical investigation of modified chemical development process. pp. 73--76

Summary: Influence of additives of polyethylenhydroxide, benzotriazol, phenylmercaptotatrazol, carbamide and alkali, introduced into the chemical developer for X-ray films treatment, upon the conjugation of developing agents anodic oxidation and AlHal cathodic reduction on the model layer was investigated by electrochemical methods. It was shown, that the photomaterial sensitivity growth using the developer with the additives mentioned, could be connected to an increase of the electrode reaction efficiency at the expense of enlargement of the conjugate current of anodic and cathodic process stages and negative bias of the conjgation potential of partial chemical reactions.

Process optimization of sodium sulfite preparation using sodium chloride. pp. 77--80

Summary: Chemistry of a process of Na2SO4 preparation using NaCl is studied. An optimal technological path of the process has been proposed based on the experimental results concerning a solubility in the systems of Na2SO3--NaCl--NH4Cl--(NH4)2SO3 and NaHSO3--NaCl--NH4Cl--NH4HSO4 and the main studies of the process have been investigated. The results obtained permitted the optimal technological mode to be elaborated for the process of sodium chloride conversion resulting in sodium sulfite formation. A possibility of preparation of sodium chloride with 90--98% yield corresponding to the state standard has been confirmed experimentally.

Application of carbon adsorbents for purification of caprolactame water solutions. pp. 81--85

Summary: Purification of raw caprolactam water solution from admixtures by carbon fibrous adsorbents of different kinds has been investigated. For the purification effectivity evaluation the following parameters have been used: permanganate stability (PS), extinction (E), optical density (D). The mathematical dependencies in the form of regression equations, characterizing a correlation between the purification parameters and the solution volume, have been obtaind.

Synergism of polymer action during flotation of potash ore. pp. 90--94

Summary: Using of a mixture of high polymers (CMC) and low polymers-polysaccharides (products of wood and starch hydrolysis) as the reactantmodifiers for flotation of potash ore (instead of the individual components) has been shown to increase a selectivity of the flotation process and to reduce a dose of the reagents.

Effect of sodium hydroxide concentration on a chemical composition of nitrone D hydrolizate. pp. 95--97

Summary: It had been found that water-soluble copolymer of acrylamide, sodium acrylate and sodium allylsulphonate was formed during alkaly hydrolysis of copolymer of acrylonitrile, methylacrylate and sodium allylsulphonate. A ratio of carboxylate and amido-groups increases with alkaly concentration growth.

Formation of titanium dioxide crystalline phases in vitreous systems. pp. 98--101

Summary: This papar deals with study of phase-formation during thermal treatment of titanium-containing vitreous systems used as basis for synthesis of opacified glazes. In glasses of the SiO<>2<> -- TiO2 -- CaO -- Al2O3 -- B2O3 -- Na2O system the regions were determined of precipitation of such titanium phases like sphene CaO • TiO2 • SiO2 rutile TiO2, and perovskite CaO • TiO2 Liguid-phase separation has a decisive effect on the type of the titanium phase precipitated in the glasses under study. Sphene will be actively formed in the absence of the separation thermal treatment, while rutile is formed in immiscible glasses.

Crystal formation in sulfuric acid solutions during metalware production. pp. 102--107

Summary: Laboratory installation to study physical and chemical properties of sulfuric acid solutions of iron products manufacture has been developed. Crystallization process in the system FeSO4 -- H2SO4 -- H2O in a wide range of temperatures and concentrations have been investigated. Sizes and growth of crystals have been shown to depend on a content of a sulfuric acid in a solution and on a rate of cooling and hashing of the solution. A commodity product -- iron vitriol-obtained from waste etching products of iron manufacture was analogous to that produced by other industrial enterprises.

Effect of sulfur-containing substitutes on the activity of space hindered amines as inhibitors of polyethylene thermal-oxidative degradation. pp. 108--111

Summary: Compounds of the group of sterically hindered amines with sulphur-containing substitutes have been studied as inhibitors of thermal-oxidative degradation of polyethylene. The influence of the number of the groups -S-R in the stabilizer molecule on its properties has been demostrated.

Summary: A study is presented of purification from heavy metals of drainage water in sanitary landfilling of waste by multiplied recirculation of a filtrate pre-treated with Ca(OH)2 to pH from 9.0 to 9.5.
