About the mass of the cracon. pp. 5-10

Summary: The mass of propagating crack is investigated. Taking into account the geometrical representation of the crack theory the tip of the crack is represented as a quasiparticle, named crackon, which propagated along the geodesic lines. According to physical processes near the tip is shown that the mass divided into elastic and plastic part. The plastic mass is related to defect structure of the media. The elastic mass is connected to elastic deformation pre-cracked zone. It is shown that catastrophical fracture is possible only by the mass of cracon equal to zero.

Comparison signify new hibride form berry plants sp. Ericaceae, prepared take part Vaccinium vitis-idaea L., with in carbohidred compound assimilating organs. pp. 11-23

Summary: The results of comparative study of the carbohydrate composition of assimilation organs of seven F1 V. uliginosum x V. vitis-idaea hybrid types and parent species very early and lately in the summer season show that it is significantly influenced by the hybridization process. The majority of synthesized plants revealed a higher - than that of the parent species - content of fructose (27-51 and 15-37%) and protopectin (28-75 and 12-52%), but a lower content of saccharose (13-38 and 15-39%), glucose (18-35 and 26-52%) and cellulose (46-72 and 38-68%) in the leaf tissue. In the summer season a marked depletion of soluble sugars (17-39%) and hydropectin (32-63%) in the test plant leaf tissue was revealed against the background of its enrichment with protopectin (13-67%) and the absence of unambiguous changes in cellulose content.

Algae and invertebrates associated with Phragmites australis (Cav.) Trin. ex Steud. pp. 24-32

Summary: The seasonal dynamics of algae and invertebrates, associated with a common reed, is study at first. The species diversity of algae is decreased from June till September. The taxonomic structure of phyto- and zooperiphyton is stable at the investigation time. Results of study of the dynamics of dominant species complex of algae and invertebrates are presented.

Protectic effect of synthetic and natural antioxidants on glucose oxidase in ultrasonic field in aqueous solutions. pp. 33-47

Summary: The glucose oxidase Aspergillus niger (GO) inactivation in 0.02 M phosphate-citrate buffer, pH 7.7 at 48°C under sonication of the low frequency (20.8 kHz, 62 W/cm2) and high frequency (2.64 MHz, 1 W/cm2) ultrasound in continuous regime significantly decreased in the presence of four vegetable flavonoids (quercetin, morin, naringin and hesperidin) and synthetic antioxidants - propylgallate, its polydisulfide, polydisulfides of 2-amino-4-nitrophenol and gallic acid (poly(DSG)) as well as complexes of poly(DSG) with the human serum albumine with various component's ratio. The comparative kinetic study of the effect of above named antioxidants has been carried out on the effective inactivation rate constants of the GO (6 nM) characterizing the total (thermic and ultrasonic) inactivation, kin, thermoinactivation, kin*, and the ultrasonic inactivation, kin(us) in min-1. The dependences of the three inactivation rate constants of the GO on the antioxidant's concentration have been obtained in a wide range (from 10-9 to 10-4 M). The data obtained proved the important role free radicals HO and HO2, generating in the US-cavitation field, in a process of the enzyme inactivation. The flavonoids have preferences in a comparison with synthetic antioxidants regarding to a totality of usefull properties and may be used as the enzyme's protectors in aqueous solutions against their inactivation by the US-cavitation.

Activity of antioxidant enzymes and expression of heat shock proteins in nuclei of winter rye (Secale cereale L.) seedlings under exposure to short-time increase of temperature. pp. 48-60

Summary: Influence of short-time heat shock on activity of antioxidant enzymes in cell and nuclei, and also on expression of heat shock proteins in nuclei was investigated in winter rye (var. Puhovchanka) seedlings at the following stages of development: 1) germination, 2) coleoptile development, 3) first true leaf. It was revealed that antioxidant enzymatic system of rye cells at the stage of germination was the most responsive to elevation of temperature. Here drastic increase of guaiacol peroxidase activity was observed in nuclei, and peak of this activity was at the stage of coleoptile development. With age nuclear isoforms of this enzyme are replaced functionally by catalases. It was revealed that active accumulation of heat shock proteins under exposure to short-time heat shock was characteristic for cell nuclei of rye seedlings on the stages of germination and coleoptile development. Most of nuclear heat shock proteins were freely localized in rye nucleoplasm, and only some of them were bound with chromatin and nuclear matrix.

Mossbauer investigation of diamagnetically diluted Mn2-xZnxSb (x > 0.5) solid solutions. pp. 61-67

Summary: The investigation of magnetic interactions in the Mn2-xZnxSb (x > 0.5) alloys by Mossbauer Effect method at 57Fe admixture atoms has been performed. The analisys of date obtained allows one to conclude about 1) the absence of magnetic interactions in those regions of MeII sublattice filled out by zink atoms, 2) the presence of ferrimagnetic interactions in the MnII-MnI-MnII chains, and 3) the presence of ferromagnetic type interactions between metal atoms in the MeI sub lattice (MnI-MnI), that increase under cooling. The Mossbauer results confirm the existence of two magnetic phases in the diamagnetically diluted alloys Mn2(Zn)Sb while the structure is monophase one (the "magnetic phase lamination") at big Zn contents.

Trichortera larvae (Insecta: Trichoptera) in lakes and rivers of Minsk. pp. 68-75

Summary: The article is devoted to investigation of Caddisfly larvae of Minsk water bodies with differing degree of anthropogenic impact. The 34 points of Minsk water bodies were examined. Collected and determined larvae belong to 28 species of 9 families. Holocentropus picicornis Stephens, 1836 was mentioned for Belarus for the first time.

Transformation of socio-cultural identity of Belarusian population in the postsoviet time. pp. 97-108

Summary: The problem of identity always attracts attention of social scholars. Its importance is greatly increasing under the period of social crisis. This situation is applicable for contemporary postcommunist social space where the population has lost its basic value orientations, socially approved norms, political stability and social-cultural integrity together with the country. The breakdown of the Soviet Union gave birth to general transformation of social structures and dominant ideas, including the phenomenon of sociocultural identity. Knowledge about these changes gives an important data about the societal situation and major tendencies of its further transformation. The paper defines the notion of sociocultural identity of Belarusians, describes its main forms and special features under conditions of postcommunist transformation and globalization, and influence of several factors on it.
