Positive temperature coefficient of resistivity in thin films of barium titanate obtained by RF-sputtering. pp. 5--7

Summary: Polycrystalline 100(Ba0.75Ca0/08Sr0.17)Ti3+(0.35/2)Y2O3+1.0SiO2 thin films were prepared by RF- sputtering and subsequent heat treatment. The temperature dependence of resistance of the films was investigated. The films had semiconductive properties. The increase of the resistance were observed in the temperatures range 50--80 °C -- PTCR effect. The warp of the resistance in area of phase transition was 70%. The small resistance warp is explained by small concentration of surface states and presence of stresses in fine-grained films.

Investigation of wear resistance of composite coatings obtained by the method of electrochemical deposition. pp. 12--17

Summary: It is established that wear resistance of iron coating with inclusions of aluminum oxide, kaolin, silicate calcium particles rises 5 to 10 times as compared with coating without disperse particles and rises 1.5 to 2.5 times as compared with tempered steel 45. The friction coefficient reduces from 0.097 to 0.026. The conditions of application of composite coatings on the base of iron have been optimized. It is shown that changes of mechanical properties of iron obtained by the method of electrochemical deposition depend on parameters of its fine structure change.

Effect of heating conditions on low-carbon steel properties during continuous softening annealing. pp. 18--23

Summary: The successive effect of temperature-time heating parameters on properties of cold-deformed low-carbon steel has been investigated during continuous rapid softening thermal treatment. The stimulation and suppressing of processes that proceed at low-temperature annealing stages are shown to affect the development of all subsequent transformations which is manifested by change in mechanical properties obtained on completing thermal treatment. The regularity is obtained of steel yield strength dependence on temperature and intermediate isothermal holding, heating rate in high-temperature region and heating temperature.

Fatigue durability estimation of a dump-truck frame based on in-service stress measurements. pp. 37--42

Summary: Basic fatigue durability evaluation stages of a dump-truck frame based on in-service stress measurements are considered. On the basis of finite element analysis, exploitation and test data the weakest zone of the frame by fatigue has been revealed. Its fatigue properties have been determined by results of local model tests. Local model of weakest zone consider material and stress concentrators of the real structure. The method used for an estimation of fatigue durability of a frame is described. The computer program "Resurs" has been developed for automation of all calculation stages. The obtained results agree well with the exploitation data.

Estimation of aviation engine durability by a method of multiple linear regression. pp. 43--47

Summary: The equation defining resource of the aviation engine is obtained. One of the modern methods -- method of multiple linear regression is used to process the collection of parameters of Russian and foreign engines. Using this equation, one can estimate the resource of the aviation engine with an error about 5%. The empiric equation allows to make new engines cheaper.

Investigation of double-side forming process of high-precision convex-concave lenses. pp. 56--63

Summary: A kinematic circuit of the device for simultaneous bilateral processing precision negative meniscus type lenses is resulted. The mathematical model of bilateral forming regularities is developed and the technique is created, allowing to calculate the most favourable operating modes of the machine tool in view of distribution of an allowance on a processable surface. Experimental-theoretic investigations are executed and concrete process parameter values of the bilateral processing, providing amplified material removal in this or that zone of a part are revealed.

Influence of size effects on coalescence of nanoparticles. pp. 68--71

Summary: A theoretical study of the influence of the size effects on coalescence of nanoparticles is presented. Joint effect of the size dependence of the surface tension and the activation energy for diffusion of atoms in the particles on the characteristic coalescence time is analyzed. Equation for the dimensionless characteristic coalescence time with account for the above-mentioned effects is obtained.

Parameter optimization problem of designed autonomous wind-energy turbine. pp. 72--81

Summary: The variational form of an parameter optimization problem for construction elements of AWET under definite expected wind conditions is given. The ratio of mathematical expectation of power output of AWET to the mass of its support column with the appropriate strength is optimized. For the modeling variant of the problem an algorithm of the solution is given. The results of numerical experiment, which illustrate influence of different factors on the energy-effectiveness of the optimal one and two rotor AWET are also given. It is proven that for every variant of construction of optimal AWET there exists an optimal power output.

Simulation and investigation of experimental samples of high-voltage PMOS-transistor. pp. 90--94

Summary: The calculation of technological parameters of high-voltage PMOS transistor regions and these regions forming regimes was carried out by means of using the programme SSuprem4. The input data for simulation is the threshold voltage 0.8--1.8 V, drain-source breaking-down voltage over 80 V and on state drain current over 0.5 mA at gate voltage equal 5 V. The drain current Id dependence on gate voltage Vg calculation was carried out taking into account epitaxial film specific resistance rv and gate oxide thickness d spreads (rv = (1.5 ± 0.225) W • cm; d = (75 ± 5) nm). The comparative analysis of simulation results with experimental data have illustrated, that n-type epitaxial film specific resistance rv = 1.5 fi-cm and gate oxide thickness d = 75 nm allow to take permissible level of investigated PMOS-transistor threshold voltage.

Magnettic field production capacity: H = H0 sin wt, adjustable within the following limits; magnitude strength H0 - 25 -200 A/m, frequency w - 100 - 1000 kHz. 2. The sample is controlled within the field having under 5% discontinuity. 3. When the piece is inserted in the converter, the magnetic conditions (strength H and frequency w) do not change. The blok diagram of the device is given in this work.

Testing of tempering quality of upgradable medium-carbon steels. pp. 113--118

Summary: It is shown that at aperiodic form of magnetizing and demagnetizing pulses the increase of their duration up to 2.5--10 ms assures a gain in sensitivity of the gradient of normal component of the residual magnetization field strength to the tempering temperature of the specimens of the up-grading medium-carbon steels hardened in advance. The choice of the amplitude of the demagnetizing pulse such that the articles tempered at maximum temperature are fully demagnetized, ensures the testing of the heat treatment quality at medium-temperature and high-temperature tempering.
