Thermodynamics of nanocrystals in melts. pp. 5--12

Summary: It is shown, that the basic of thermodynamics of nanocrystals in melts is the fact, that interphase surface tension on the boundary of liquid metal with nanocrystals is linearly dependent on its radius. This seriously decreases interphase surface tension of nanocrystals and makes them thermodynamically stable in the melt.

Low-energy ion implantation at high current densities and nano/amorphous structures synthesis in Fe-based alloys. pp. 13--20

Summary: A brief

Summary: of the recent progress concerning the understanding of mechanisms responsible for ion beam induced amorphization and nanostructure formation in alloys subjected to low-energy nitrogen ion implantation at high-current-densities is presented. The discussion is concentrated on a number of Fe-based alloys. Several mechanisms including deposition from the near surface plasma "cloud", amorphization by solid-state reaction, cellular precipitation in solid solutions, etc. are considered to explain the formation of nano- and amorphous structures.

Melt viscosity of nanocomposites based on high density polyethylene. pp. 25--27

Summary: It is shown, that the extreme change of melt viscosity of polyethylene-epoxy polymer nanocomposites can by correctly described within the flamework of fractal model. The main structural factor, controlling this effect, is change of fractal dimension of macromolecular coil in melt. The main physical cause, determining the effect, is partial interaction of polyethylene matrix and epoxy particles.

Development and introduction of new cutting tools of machines for crushing meat raw materials. pp. 57--61

Summary: The interrelation of the power parameters describing process of primary crushing and deterioration, with design features of knifes and lattices is established. For the first time the generalized characteristic of rotating knife, establishing its design data is deduced. On the basis of the generalized characteristic the settlement model of a rotating knife with the displaced cutting edge and an inclined forward side of each tooth is developed. Experimental pre-production models of the cutting mechanism which have successfully passed industrial tests are created. Introduction in manufacture of the cutting tool of a new design allows essentially raising the efficiency of process of crushimg of meat raw material, considerably lower operational expenses due to increase of wear resistance of the cutting pair a knife-lattice, increase productivity of the machine as a whole at stability of power inputs. Wear resistance of the cutting pair a knife -- lattice in 1.4--1.5 times surpasses stability of the serial cutting tool of tops and meat grinders.

Thermodynamic analysis of average equilibrium concentrations of nitric oxide NOx based on temperature field of the space within a cylinder of a high-powered diesel engine. pp. 62--72

Summary: We elaborated the thermodynamic regularity that allows determining the content of nitric oxide in the waste gas of the high-powered diesel engine. The content of toxic constituents in the waste gas, and nitric oxide NOx in particular, was determined on the basis of equilibrium concentration that was estimated by the equilibrium constant of chemical reactions taking into account temperature field in the cylinder space.

Tri-generation systems with sorption heat pumps. pp. 73--78

Summary: Tri-generation systems, systems of electricity, heat and cold production, are the effective devices, which are capable to transform energy from an alternative sources and to use fuel transformation at low temperature. Adsorption heat pump consisting of three different adsorbers (on the basis of active carbon fiber saturated with chlorides of nickel, manganese, barium) and evaporator/condenser with ammonia could function in several regimes and could have one or two sources of cold. Working characteristics of heat pump, cold production in both regimes and coefficients of permeability (COP) are obtained.

Summary: An integrated investigation of the radionuclide balance of the Chernobyl catastrophe in different moment had been carried out. Radionuclide composition formation of the fuel of the 4-th Unit of the Chernobyl NPP and its radiation characterizations under normal operation had been calculated. Total activity for 650 fission products and 58 actinides have been calculated and its behaviour during the reactor runaway had been investigated. Total energy balance of the accident and its quantity, that influenced to the radionuclide release (filtration flux to an atmosphere), have been carried out. Then radionuclide balance of the accident had been obtained. The distributions of fission products and actinides between the broken reactor and an environment had been calculated. On the base of the nuclide activity balance at the moment of the accident, current nuclide activities in environment and in the broken reactor and for 50-year perspective, as well, had been calculated.
