Crystal structure parameters of for high-coercive ferrites Sr1-x Sr1-xPrxFe12-xCoxO19,(Sr0,85Ca0,15)1-xPrxFe12-xCoxO19. pp. 5--8.
Summary: Ferrites Sr1-xPrxFe12-xCoxO19,(Sr0,85Ca0,15)1-xPrxFe12-xCoxO19 have been prepared by the solid-phase method. X-ray diffraction has shown that samples at 0£õ£0,3 were single-phase and have crystal structure of magnetoplumbite type and at 0,4£õ£0,5 contain also a-Fe203, CoFe204. In the single-phase area (0£õ£0,3) lattice parameter a decreases and lattice parameter ñ, volume V of simple crystal lattice increase linearly, according to equations obtained by the least-squares method. For systems Sr1-xPrxFe12-xCoxO19,(Sr0,85Ca0,15)1-xPrxFe12-xCoxO19, in multiphase area (0,4£õ£0,5), parameters of magne toplumbite type crystal structure virtually do not depend upon x.

Drying of metal hydroxides under microwave irradiation. pp. 13-16.
Summary: The adsorption-structural properties of iron and magnesium hydroxides and changes of their sorption capacity depending on drying conditions under microwave irradiation have been studied. It has been shown that hydroxides dried in magnetron oven have better structural characteristics as compared to the samples dried up at room temperature. The possible reason for this is that, during microwave drying, heating occurs in volume rather than on the surface, that causes water to move intensively toward sample surface, preventing structure consolidation. The explanation to sample structural changes has been proposed, and their causes have been discussed, from the colloidal chemistry viewpoint.

Aggregative stability of butadiene-styrene latex in presence of inorganic salts. pp. 24-29.
Summary: Colloidal stability of butadiene-styrene latex (BSL) in presence of CaCl2, A1C13 and SnCl4 has been studied. It has been found that solvation sphere thickness of BSL decreases in presence of electrolytes in the following order: CaCl2 > A1C13 > SnCl4. It has been shown the zeta potential of BSL decreases only slightly in CaCl2 solution, while it drops down rapidly with increasing concentration of A1C13 or SnCl4. It has been established that the joint influence of electrostatic and adsorptive-solvate stability factors determines coagulation process of BSL by CaCl2 while coagulation by A1C13 and SnCl4 is affected by the electrostatic factor only.

Diclofenacselective electrode based on p-trifiuoroacetylbenzoic acid heptyl ester as a neutral carrier. pp. 30-35.
Summary: Diclofenac-selective electrode based on the composition of ion-exchanger -- trinonyloctadecylammonium and neutral carrier - p-trifmoroacetybenzoic acid heptyl ester, has been developed. It has been shown that introduction of the above neutral carrier leads to a significant selectivity improvement (up to 3.4 decimal orders) towards diclofenac, as compared to the majority of anions studied. Techniques of diclofenac determination in drugs using the developed electrode have been proposed.

Application of diethyl ether extraction from salt solutions for sample preparation for gas chromatographic analysis of cognac production. pp. 36-43.
Summary: At 20,0 ± 0,1 0C in ideal region of concentrations of substances in organic phase the distribution of cognac production model components between saturated aqueous solutions of ammonium sulfate and organic solvents was studied in systems (NH4)2S04 - H20 - diethyl ether, (NH4)2S04 - H20 - l-hexanol. Distribution constants and increments of methylene and functional groups of studied substances were calculated. The dependence of methylene, hydroxyl and carboxyl groups' increments of ethanol concentration in aqueous phase was studied. A procedure was developed for extraction sample preparation of cognac products for the revealing of adulterated products by gas chromatography - mass spectrometry. Analytical characteristics of the developed and already known procedures were compared in example with adulterated cognac "Insterburg" produced in Russia.

Photopotential spectrum for electrodeposited CdTe films. pp. 49-52.
Summary: Photopotential spectral dependence for electrodeposited CdTe films with thickness d = 2 - 20 mm has been studied. Deposition has been performed on Ni cathode from (1 M CdS04 + 1 mM TeO2 + 0.05 M H2S04) electrolyte at 85 0C The photopotential (a difference between dark potential and light potential of CdTe electrode) measured in 0.1 M Na2S03 in open circuit reaches its maximum for CdTe films with d = 10 mm. In thicker films, photoelectrochemical activity reduction has been observed, associated with formation of multiphase films containing, along with CdTe, also Òå and CdTe1+x phases. Photoelectrochemical behavior of films has been modeled by CdTe/Te heterostructure behavior.

Patterned films formation from synthetic and natural polymers. pp. 53-57.
Summary: A new approach for patterning films of natural and synthetic high-molecular surfactants on solid surface has been developed. It has been shown that the combination of microcontact printing and traditional "vertical" Langmuir-Blodgett method (LB-method) may be used for obtaining high-quality patterned coverings from synthetic polymers. Two alternative means of stamp modification are possible in the case of bovine serum albumin microprinting: adsorption from solution and LB-method. Both methods provide high-quality transfer of protein molecules from hydrophobic stamp to hydrophilic silicon, which is necessary for local protection of silicon surface from non-specific antibodies adsorption. This approach allows controlled fixation of protein infectious agent from the sample to micron-sized strips of silicon surface activated with specific antibodies. The validity of the developed approach has been demonstrated by diagnostics of prion infections.

Water sorption and infrared spectra for organic solutions of dinonylnaphtalenesulfonic acid with tobramycin, erithromycin and histidine. pp. 58-63.
Summary: The effect of counterion size and shape, its charge, hydration and solvation capacity, on water sorption by tobramycin, erithromycin and histidine salts with dinonilnaphthalenesulfonic acid (HD), has been studied. It has been shown, that octane solutions of all salts show decreasing water sorption of with the increase of salt molar proportion in HD phase. Increasing the solvent polarity by addition of nonane-1-ol to HD phase sharpens the difference in water sorption between ionic forms of the extracted compound. For erythromycin, solvation effects dominate in presence of the higher alcohol.

Synthesis and catalytic activity of sulfocationites based on porous polypropylene. pp. 73-76.
Summary: Samples of sulfocationite on the basis of porous polypropylene were synthesized; catalytic activities of obtained materials in the model reaction of alcohol dehydration were determined. Synthesized sulfocationites had shown higher catalytic activity, as compared to DOWEX msm 31 granular ion-exchanger. The fact has been explained by presence of a wide channel network in its structure, providing higher rate of mass exchange processes in this material.

Effect of synthetic insect attractants of 2-myristoylcyclohexane-l,3-dione series and their derivatives on glucose oxidase and peroxidase activity. pp. 95-102.
Summary: The potential kairomones, 2-acylcyclohexane-l,3-dione derivatives, in 20 mM citrate-phosphate buffer, pH 3,5 with 5% dimethyl formamide (DMF) inhibit glucose oxidase (GO) of Aspergillus niger, but practically do not affect horseradish peroxidase (HRP). 5,5-Dimethyl-2-(l-(pyrrolidine-l-yl)tetradecylidene)cyclohexane-l,3-dione (compound 6) and 5,5-dimethyl-2-(l-(phenylamino)tetradecylidene)cyclohexane-l,3-dione inhibit GO most efficiently. At the presence of 0,1 mM of compound 6 effective kkat decreases in 2,5 times, and at 0,3 mM -- in 3,9 times. Compound 6 and 4-methoxy carbonyl-2-tetradecanoyl-5,5-dimethylcyclohexane-l,3-dione (compound 4) substantially affect the GO conformation, as the inhibition type of enzyme is determined by their concentration, changing from non-competitive to unmatched (4) or mixed (6). For compounds 4 and 6, the Ki values differ approximately by a decimal order. The compound 6 is a moderate GO inhibitor (Ki = (2,9-9,6) ×10-5 M). In water solution containing 6 % DMF, the effect of potential kairomones studied on the HRP catalytic activity depends on pH changes caused by them and on the oxygen content in the dimedone fragment.
