Igor Ivanov delivered an open lecture "Collider: in search for new physics" at the Institute of Physics of the NAS of Belarus. The lecture was organized by the journal "Science and innovation". The lecture was devoted to the search for a new, deeper theory of the microcosm, which is conventionally called "new physics" and has become the main goal of particle physics.
The lecturer told the audience about 10 years of operation of the Large Hadron Collider, new discoveries, dramas accompanying the search for new physics, and scientists’ expectations.
